My horse loves it, just not sure why it’s so costly
I really love this girth. The craftsmanship is excellent, nice leather exterior, and the neoprene is nice and soft. It genuinely solves the issue of my girth placement. I have a large shouldered OTTB and his saddle just does not sit well directly above the girth line. This is clearly much more comfortable for him and leaves room for him to really use his shoulders. What’s gets me is the cost. I understand it’s a shaped and well crafted girth but honestly, why is a horse’s comfort as an athlete bought at a premium? Anatomical girths should be the standard as there have been numerous studies that show they improve the horse’s performance but instead they are considered a luxury. I never mind paying higher cost for better craftsmanship but this feels like I’m paying a higher cost for something that should be readily available to all riders. If vendors want to see equipment like this used with the every day horse they need to start pushing products like this using a price point where it will be used by all. I will warn those who have dark brown or more ‘Havana’ type colored tack that the brown girth has a pretty bright mahogany undertone. It matches okay in the sense that brown is brown but it’s definitely noticeable with dark brown tack.

Runs small, size up.
Runs small. My horse fits a 48” girth in most brands. So that’s what I ordered for the total fit, I needed a 50” to be able to buckle it. I was pretty disappointed as I had to get another show girth for him and this one is now sitting in my tack trunk.

Love it!
It allows my saddle to sit behind the shoulders, and doesn’t slide forward to the armpits while riding.I use it for jumping and trails and it keeps my very sensitive horse happy.

Great girth!
This girth was exactly what I needed to complete our saddle fitting journey! I recently invested in a Schleese saddle and needed a new girth. It’s really hard to find a black jumping 3-ply elastic girth that is also over 4 inches in width (recommendations by Schleese) and not over $200. This one fit the bill and is great! My saddle never slides, and my mare has stopped pinning her ears when being girthed. The leather is nice quality and the padding is very nice!

Worth every penny
I’ve been putting in a lot of effort into getting the best saddle for my 3 mares (my 2 jumpers shown here) that I can this year and all three of them have the shoulder relief girth and love it! The saddle not only fits better, but there is a clear different in my mares moving forward open and relaxed. I also bought the short synthetic one for my bareback pad converter (keeping all of my tack black). Definitely recommend!

Works as Advertised
I have tried six different style of girths since starting my Arabian. He has been girthy from the start (he was treated for ulcers so this was a girth thing) with pinned ears and blowing out. I decided to give TSF a try. The leather seemed stiff and unforgiving, but it has worked wonderfully on my horse. This is the first leather girth I have been able to use and I love how much freer his shoulder is. He has stopped blowing out his gut when I tighten the girth, plus there are no rubs or galls in his elbow area, like there was even with the fleece girth. I've been very pleased.

I LOVE TOTAL SADDLE FIT
I have a dressage, a western, and now a hunt saddle TSF girth. All are amazing!

Great tool for saddles that creep forward
This girth is a great solution to keep saddle from slipping forward. I have used other brands of contoured girths - but the "bump out" on this girth is a full inch more forward than on my others. Leather quality is great - softer and more flexible than my other contoured girths. The only caution is that I found it did not work well on a friend's big barreled (read: heavy) horse. When rightened, only the back part of the girth made contact - rather than the front - so it would pinch.
