Razer Electra V2-7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset (Renewed)

This is a great headset for the price. I bought refurbished so it was about $30, but I wouldn't really buy for full price. The sound quality is great, but my only complaint is that sometimes the mic gets really staticy. I plug it directly into my pc and I think it has to do with the cords. If I wiggle it around it fixes the static for a little bit but it's just annoying to have to do it all the time and when playing games people are always like "what's wrong with your mic" lol. But I don't think this is a product issue more with what you are plugging it into I assume. Also the mic isn't the best quality and is kind of quiet and not very clear. I just ended up buying a separate stand mic and I really enjoy the headset by itself.Edit: After using for a few weeks, the ear cups seem to be getting loose and might be detaching from the headset. Seems a little cheap but I still stand by my original review; good price for $30 but would not recommend at full price.

Likes: Removable mic so you are able to use them as normal headphones and you won't look awkward with a mic hanging there if you use them in public., volume controls on back of the left ear piece, very comfortable, and they sound fantastic.Dislikes: the cord being rubber allows it to tangle easily, if the mic breaks or gets lost it has a proprietary connection. Instead of being round it has one flat side.(I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you can't just purchase any replacement you have to find one that will fit). Other than that I have no real complaints. For the money these are a fantastic headphones.

I absolutely love these! I had a pair of the v1 back in high school, and ended up trading them for something senior year. The only flaw I see as far as quality is that the ear piece was put on wrong, making it look like the green "spacer" was missing, but it took all of 30 seconds to fix. My advice to anyone else with this issue, is to adjust it yourself before posting an angry review. Only complaint is based on my experience with the previous generation, which is that the cord doesn't detach like it did for the v1, but that's more of a personal preference rather than an actual issue. Great price for amazing sound quality!

The headline is just to take your attention from all the haters. This product is very reasonable for the price. I bought these headphones because I wanted a headset with 7.1 surround sound without paying $60+. The microphone works well and the sourround sound is fantastic. I followed the advice of another review we and stuck a rolled price of paper towel inbetween the cushion and the speaker inside the cup because there wasn't enough clearance for my MASSIVE ears to hear all the haters. I am content with my spontaneous purchase.

I use this headphone mostly to play Rainbow six siege and is been very good for me, comfortable

Great sound. Doesn’t need much EQing. Great mic. Never had any technical issues. Just tight on the ears. Perfect for the price though

The cord is a good quality which is what I was looking for. Before I got these headphones, my headphone cord would get tangled up on itself...it doesn't seem to get tangled up that easily whilst using these.I was also looking for earcups that didn't move all over the place-fixed earcups are just easier for me to use-these have fixed earcups that did not disappoint. The sound quality seems pretty good too.The detachable mic is cool. I'm not utilizing the detachable mic because I'm using a standalone mic, but I've never seen a detachable mic before.

only reason 3 stars for value. The mics fail too often. Been through 2 of these in 6 months. Its not the actual mic but a internal part inside the headphone itself.This was the last razer product I will ever buy.I'm now a Roccat Consumer

El uso extremo llevó mis anteriores Razer Electra v1 a la basura, la buena experiencia con ellos me llevó a comprar esta versión, pero la diadema de metal provoca que cada que se toca con algo viaje el sonido de vibración hasta los oidos.Espero que las almohadillas no se desintegren con el paso del tiempo como me pasó con las anteriores. Lo bueno que conseguí reemplazos.Excelente el reacomodo del microfono a un costado en lugar de venir en el cable.Me agradó que trajera manera de activar/desactivar el microfono y poder subir y bajar el volúmen desde la orejera izquierda.Excelente calidad de sonido, calidad/precio es lo mejor que me he topado.Muy recomendable

Aun que es un reacondicionado suena de maravilla aislando el sonido del exterior y muy buen audio y controles de volumen y mute chat, super comodos aun que para gente con cabeza grande no estoy seguro si les quede ajustaddo o no lleguen a sentir mucho comfort, al menos yo cabeza promedio y casco aleman jaja estan super comodos todo esta funcionando sin problemas y estoy disfrutandolos mucho. Llego en caja generica de RAZER con manual. Recomendable!!!

Todo iba bien, pero a los 9 meses el microfono falló.Soy usuario casual de PS4 y cuido mucho mis cosas, definitivamente no fue por mal uso o maltrato, simplemente la gente con la que juego me dice que se escucha muy mal mi voz y a veces no me escuchan, no volvería a comprar.

Muy buen producto

Suenan muy bien, bastante intuitivos los controles físicos de volumen y cancelación del micrófono. Después de unas horas se vuelven incómodos y no hay manera de ajustarse si tu cabeza es relativamente grande.
