Really nice set of haircutting tools. I was mainly looking for the scissors, but all the additional accessories, the cape, etc. make this kit very worth it. So far I've only used the main pair of scissors to cut women's hair and it gave a really nice smooth, straight cut and was able to cut through even pretty thick hair. Would highly recommend this as a great beginner haircutting kit, especially if doing any type of work at home.

First off, I need to say the little poach that this scissor set comes in, is quite handy. It snaps and keeps the set of 1 comb and 2 scissors together. For the price, I believe that this is a nice little set for the home. It probably isn't a set a professional barber would be interested in, but it is a good set for me. I have been trimming my own hair for years (not too well, unfortunately). I just use whatever scissor I can find at the time, and usually that is a large, all-purpose pair of scissors. I am excited to have my own hair cutting scissors. I like that the scissor ends are blunt ( so that I won't poke myself). I really like the blade adjusting finger nut screw that allows you to adjust the tightness of the scissor blades. The handles fit your fingers just right. I oiled the pivot points of my 2 pairs of scissors with sewing machine oil and now my scissors glide perfectly. I wonder how you pronounce the name of these scissors..."Fcysy".

These years definitely cut with precision. You can use them simply for hair but I always try and find multiple different uses for items and I've used these around the house as well. They are Sharp and cut through most things.

This is a convenient set of scissors. They are definitely not the greatest quality, but are better than any scissors I've ever received as an add on with hair clippers for grooming my doodles. They cut, but aren't super sharp. At $9, they are five star due to the low price, but that would change at a higher price since they are a lower quality. They are sharp enough to do the job, but if you can afford it, I would recommend spending a little more and getting a better set of scissors.

These cut alright. Not anything special. And the sheers don’t even sit together very snug. I like the pair that I got in my box of clippers better. These are a metal handle rather than plastic, some might prefer that. But I didn’t find these to be anything amazing.

I got the 3 piece set for my Dad. He’s turning 80 soon, but still has a full beard and lots of hair!He’s not a big fan of any fancy hair tools, and just likes the basics. This is exactly that. I'm surprised that these were anywhere as good as they actually are, considering that the scissors are less than $5 each as of this review.The cutting shears have a rounded safety tip, and even though I prefer a sharp, pointed tip, they are great for beginners or for cutting hair on kids or fidgety people.Both the cutting shears and the thinning shears have a blade adjustment knob which was tight on both sets when I received them. I loosened both up and added a little bit of oil (clipper blade oil), and they quickly became very comfortable to use.They're not the sharpest scissors I have used, but they're definitely a good starter or traveling set. The handle is comfortable, although people with large fingers may find it a bit tight.The comb I received had some broken teeth, but it's cheap, and you likely have a much better comb at home. My daughter and I cut our own hair at home, and we’ve needed some new scissors for a while now. I was so happy to find these, but I was a little worried that they wouldn’t be sharp enough because of the price. I’ve had that happen before. It turns out I worried for nothing. These scissors do a great job. Not only are they sharp enough for at-home cuts, they’re also lightweight, making them easy to maneuver.This set comes with scissors, thinning shears, and a comb – plus a cute little pouch that they fit in perfectly. It’s well worth the little money I spent. I highly recommend them.
