Desk is about 3 inches too high and monitor Stand is freestanding
This desk is relatively easy to put together, looks good and is definitely sturdy. My only two gripes are the height (with the the adjustable feet all the way in) my elbows are bending upward when using laptop keyboard and number two, the monitor stand does not use any kind of fasteners to secure it to the desktop (could easily be accidentally pushed off the back side of the desk). I will remedy this myself by using 2 small l-shaped corner brackets, one on either side of the outsides of the monitor stand. Other than those two issues it appears to be and feels like it will be a good and useful desk for quite a long while.
