The hubby had Achilles tendon surgery in 2017. It was hanging by only 1 string of the tendon. He also has Hammer Toes and now Plantar Fasciitis. He hates tight socks but loves the comfort and being pain free. No more limping around. I've bought him a few different brands and this is the best one for him. He wore these all day yesterday and came home with no pain and no limping. He ia a sz 11 and doesn't have a very wide foot. The 1st pair I bought him will be returned due to not reading the sizing chart and realizing that a sz L is too small for him. I purchased 2 more in XL (this one and the lower calf sock same brand) and they fit great.Read all the way down to the bottom of Amazon's now pop up and advert filled description page to get proper sizing. I was looking for warmer compression socks that would give me a little higher fit with compression that would keep my feet in good shape. ZaTech’s Merino wool fit the bill perfectly - great compression on the milder side, merino wool that keeps the temperature steady. The quality seems really good - I feel they got a little better after I washed them a couple of times. Materials feel good quality. Will be using them often and most likely will be back for more. Would recommend.
