Exactly as advertised
Would be a 5 if the pages were perforated for tear-out.Hexagons are probably a little large for MOST users (people taking chem notes and/or gamers who want to make maps) as the 1" squares mean not a lot per page. On the plus side, big enough to position a mini on and use as a map - which is why perforation would be nice.I bought some loose leaf 1/2" hex paper for game prototyping, but no one seems to have 1" - so this is about as good as it gets.Pages are sturdy and book is as advertised.

Good for d&d maps
The spaces themselves are a good size for d&d fight maps, and the lines are clear. Really the only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars (for what I’m using it for at least) is the lack of perforations; pieces have to be cut out by hand as they don’t pull out super well.

NOT 1" hexes!
The description is half false, half true. These are NOT 1" hexes, they are 27/32" so if you plan on using 1" tokens/pieces/bases and need 1" hexes do 'not' purchase this item because it will be worthless to you. The hex sides are in fact 1/2" but they aren't even close to 1" wide hexes. Also, no perforations making this product extremely limited in its use.
