This repair kit supplies the capacitors needed to repair the power supply board inside a LG 52LG70 LCD TV. This repair kit is for the power supply and inverter boards pictured above. Please verify that the power supply board inside your LCD monitor or TV matches this power supply board before ordering! Failure to do this may result in ordering the incorrect kit. PLEASE NOTE: You are not purchasing a power supply board, only the capacitors needed to repair it! If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors - Flickering screen - Screen image disappears after several seconds - Dim screen - Slow start - Power LED on, but no picture - Unusual colors and/or lines The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad. If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced. New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years. This LG 52LG70, LCD TV repair kit contains 19 capacitors (circled in red) needed to repair the power supply board inside your LG 52LG70, LCD TV. This kit does not include the two large 450v 220uF capacitors, those capacitors may be purchased separately. We only use high quality capacitors manufactured by Panasonic, and Nichicon in our kits. Easy, inexpensive fix!
This kit was put together well, and arrived quicker than I expected. It included links to instruction videos and web page resources for those who have not soldered much. My initial installation did not fix the problem, so I contacted this company to see what the next step could be. I received a very quick response, indicating that I should check my solder joints and re-do them if necessary. That fixed the problem, and I now have a TV that works again. Great product, and great customer service!

Decent kit, didn't work
Well okay so I don't quite know how to rate this, the kit was decent and the instructions were fine. After several hours of soldering everything together I was happy to see the TV turn on at least. But alas, after a day the original problem came back. I doubt this is the fault of the kit itself however, and therefor it gets four stars.

Replaced all capacitors in 30 minutes.
Capacitors are outstanding and like all leaded devices, they are simple to replace.
