Had this knife for a month now, arrived very sharp. Was able to use it straight out the packaging. The handle seems to be untreated wood (could be wrong) but every now and again I just go over it with a cloth and some oil and it brings a good shine. The knife works exceptionally well. Hasn’t lost its edge much in the month of daily use, only sharpened afew days ago and the edge is back. The finger guard is good if you’re not confident with a knife and chopping very finely or julienne slicing. The odour remover is hit and miss, it takes away the smell of certain things but just replaces it with a metallic smell.

This is an excellent knife and is so sharp right out of the box, I loved it today when I was preparing kidneys for steak and kidney pie, it was simply the best Knife I have used for this tiresome job. The Handle is great and it is nicely balanced. tHE FINGER GUARD WAS BROKEN IN THE BOX SO IT WAS RENDERED USLESS, I did contact seller but got no response.

What more can I say this is by far the best knife I've used in a long time! Very comfortable to hold very well made and very very sharp straight out of the box. It comes in a great storage box with an odour remover and finger guard which is an additional bonus! Would definitely highly recommend especially for the price.

Sharpest knife I’ve ever used, got it for work and it’s not let me down yet would highly recommend. If you purchase this knife start off slowly and build up speed when your more comfortable nearly took my finger off it’s that sharp.

I'm happy in general.
