With lots of camping pads to choose from I went with this one based on price and because I’ve heard of Zero Mile Mark. I bought this pad for a long weekend backpacking through the Everglades. It poured on us a couple times over the trip and this pad proved to be waterproof. It’s really light, it’s definitely waterproof, it’s as comfortable as you’d expect and it was insulated (even though I didn’t need much insulation in Florida). Good product and same quality as higher priced camping pads.

Avid backpacker approvedI live in Colorado and spend a lot of time backpacking and camping. I have used pads like these before and I kind of knew what to expect. This is actually a great pad for the price. Honestly, nobody should expect a Z style camping pad to be super comfortable, but should really just appreciate it for the protection from cold, rough ground. The material is strong enough to protect from the ground underneath it, but it actually somewhat comfortable and definitely gives a layer to protect against the cold ground. All in all, good pad if you have reasonable expectations.

I used this mat second bit of cushion. I weighed very little and it did add extra cushion. I would consider this alone if it were a bit thicker without being too much heavier.

The foam is pointless. Just the same as lying on the ground without it.

You get what you pay for. This product is very cheaply made & not comfortable.

I initially used this to put my sleeping bag on over carpet and it wasnt a HUGE difference - but ok. Tried it outdoors on the grass and seemed ok, made the sleeping area flat and the bumps on the ground weren't as noticeable but still slightly uncomfortable. I'm not saying this is a bad product but I can't say I'd recommend it to someone, bought a self inflating pad afterwards and that was a lot better and smaller area of space when stored. This pad hasn't torn or started degrading, quality is solid.

I bought this pad for an upcoming camping trip. I liked that it came with a protective bag and bands. It ended up being a wet weekend and we used the pad on our hikes to sit on and stay dry. It worked great and did not retain any moisture. For sleeping - it was comfortable enough under my sleeping bag and certainly better than the ground. I would buy again and I recommended it to my fellow campers.

I purchased this camping pad for an overnight camping trip. I'm very pleased with its quality and comfortability, especially for the price. It is surprising light weight, which was great as my young son helped carry it. I plan on buying a couple more for my other kids for when they go on the next trip!
