It's hard to get the stitching started (I feel as if the directions could be a little more clear), but once you get it going, it's really simple. Way better and cheaper than buying a new steering wheel, but yet feels brand new. Would definitely buy again.

Amazing quality and great fitment. Installation requires sewing skills, and you should definitely remove and disassemble the steering wheel, it will make the process 10 times easier. Absolutely impressed with the final result and will order again!

I was tempted to pay over $300 to buy a new leather steering wheel too replace my old worn steering wheel, but I came across this wheel cover. It was NOT very expensive (I got the vinyl cover) and it came with perforations and red stitching. I had seen other companies that sold steering wheel covers for a lot more money but I chose this one because of price and because of how it fits. Regular covers just go around the wheel, but, as you can see from the pictures, my Miata NC (2007) steering wheel has three silver parts that stick out and go in (a regular cover would have covered the bottom silver part and left the two side silver parts exposed). The Mewant steering wheel cover, covers ALL parts of the wheel and does not cover any silver parts (it wraps around them and tucks under). And instead of a regular steering wheel cover, which is stitched in and out of pre-punched holes, the Mewant steering wheel cover has stitching around the cover, so you "lace" the wheel cover on...rich looking and more like factory. I love the look and the quality materials. The seller provided a needle and more than enough red thread. I highly recommend this seller and product...just prepare to wait 2 weeks for delivery. Well worth the wait.

Great product, the leather is perfectly cut to size. The instructions are clear enough and the sewing is easy. It won’t look like perfectly stitched factory leather, so temper expectations, but it will look 1000% better than old gross leather. Took me about an hour to get it installed, didn’t even have to remove/disassemble the wheel at all. Never done any sewing before.

I really like this cover. The steering wheel in my MX-5 was peeling and leaving black specks all over my hands. This is a great cover. Fully sewn in. Feels great driving it. Like a whole new level of comfort. It did take about 4 hours to install. 100percent worth my time.

First off, be prepared, this will take at least 3 hours. I highly recommend taking the steering wheel off and removing the plastic bits so that you can easily tuck the material in (i have no idea how you could without taking these bits off.) removing the steering wheel and plastic bits are a lot easier than you would think, plenty of google videos out there.That being said, it was totally worth it, it feels great, and you definitely get a sense of satisfaction knowing that you stitched this yourself. It took a bit to get the hang of it, but once you get it its pretty smooth sailing. I was definitely worried at first, but it all comes together once you actually finish off a section. I have yet to see how well the material holds up, but it seems pretty quality and feels great.

I'm absolutely blown away. Custom colors and materials while being affordable and a perfect fit. Makes the whole car feel new again!I don't think I've ever written a review for anything, but this was so good it deserves the praise. Takes a bit of time to stitch together but completely worth it. I installed this without any issues on my 07 Miata. It says it doesn't work with paddle shifters but I did not have any issues at all. It did take me about 2 hours to install but it was easy. It fits very snug without using the double sided tape. It came with an extra supply of string. It feels better than the factory wheel and it is hard to tell it didn't come factory installed.
