Ixia Classic Retro Sweetheart Tea Length Swing Dress

Before buying this dress, I measured my daughter, as she was going to wear this to an event and I wanted to be sure it was a good/close fit. When she tried it on, I noticed that, even though she is not at all small in the bust area, it was sagging, and even when she stands up straight, the straps are too long. I wanted to send it back, but wasn't allowed to, even though I notified the company and she never wore it anywhere.

ughh :/ I had such high hopes for this dress. it really is so pretty and charming. The rounch in the bust is a little different, but it probably looks great on someone it fits. I've bought a couple other ixia dresses in a small and they fit delightfully. almost tailored to my figure. so I saw this, and since it's a little more formal and longer than the others I have, I decided to buy this one, as well. and I have prime so I knew I could return it if it didn't fit. well, there must be a very big discrepancies in the sizing depending on the style of dress because I purchased this in a small, and I am not kidding or exaggerating at all when I tell you it fits me like a large. I am a relatively "skinny" person.. 5'4, 105lbs, 32/26/32, C/D cup. basically 10 out of 10 items in my closet are a junior fit. and I'm 30 y/o lol . I had bought the fold over sweetheart cut above the knee dress and like I said, that fit perfect. The measurements were basically the same, except the bust for this was 34, which isn't that big of a difference, but I don't believe the waist is 26 inches. my waist is exactly 26 inches and when zipped I could easily pull excess material in any given place. it did not even form to my body at all. I looked like a little girl wearing her mother's dress. it's a shame because it's really a beautiful dress :/ I highly recommend it to anyone larger than my little self!!

I love the fabric and how well it holds up. Its a bit stiff but I expected and wanted that. The bust/torso is fairly small, so even though I bought for my size and measurements it is so tight I could not get comfortable, even with shape wear and a corset. If you're larger than a L US I would say measure carefully and use your judgement on buying.

Just a little large in the back at the top and around the bust area... doesn't effect the wear of the dress, just causes a little movement on the back between the shoulders. But I am totally in love with this dress!

This is one to one and a half sizes too bug according to the size chart

Love the cut of this dress was suprised it fit me i bought a size smaller and the fit was amzing very comfortable.
