I don't know who these stay up on but they did not on me. When they arrived and I went to put them on the other morning I was excited. The fabric seemed nice (on the thicker side) and I pulled them on and yeah off we go! Well once I walk from my parked car to my office door the 'socks' have gone from the tops of my thighs to the tops of my knees causing a unattractive bunching of material below the knee.I spent the rest of the day pulling them up and then just gave up and folded them below the knee. I was looking for an alternative to tights to wear with dresses in the colder months. These are not it. If you plan to just wear them as buncy tall socks, or around the house, or like a leg warmer they may be fine.Im not sure who they would stay up on there is little to know lycra or other stretchy materials in them nor any type of sticky adhesive.For reference I am only about 5'1", about 125# on the athletic side with meat on my thighs ;D

It fits, but they don’t stay up and I’m not fat, but the top of the socks are kind of tight so it makes a line in my legs making me look fat above the top of the socks. It’s might just be the material because I have others this length that fit perfect and don’t have this effect at all.

I love them. I have thick calves & thighs & I was worried they wouldn't go above the knee but they do! So cute & cozy too! I'll be ordering another pair

After reading other reviews, I gave these a try. They fit great in all ways but one, that one being that, up to the knee they're fantastic, but once they get over the knee, they're really tight (almost painfully) and roll down constantly.

These are such a nice material, not thin at all, and actually a very soft like fabric. They go past my knees quite a bit which is wonderful. Came quickly, and the packaging was so cute. I loved and would recommend these 100%.

I bought these for my daughter and i was not too happy about them because they barely fit upto the knee nevermind over it. My daughter is of average build so that is not the issue. But i will say that they do stay put.

It is hard to tell online if a knee-high sock will be cute or not. These are really cute and I am very happy with my purchase. I would buy these again.

Finally found a pair of socks that didn't squeeze the life out of me. They are directly above the knee, which is good for avoiding too-tight of socks. The socks also stay up pretty well!
