There were so many issues with this story I don’t know where to begin. Smh. The basic issues of grammar were all over the place. Words missing or used incorrectly. I’ve noted in past reviews of this authors products that I think there is a cultural issue in that it comes out randomly very British verbiage. But even explaining that, there were glaring errors that a fifth grader would have noticed on any english speaking, reading, and writing continent.As for the story, I had no idea what was going on in the first 25% of the book. The male lead was written like a sociopath. Acting one way and talking another way and thinking a third way. The paranormal abilities described as one way and then contradicted repeatedly as the book progressed.It was never explained how after he bit her how he lost her. Did she runaway and because he was in wolf form he couldn’t follow her without being seen. Why was she even in an alleyway when leaving her job when most corporate buildings are skyscrapers and don’t allow staff to exit through side entrances. I mean seriously what happened!?! Basic storytelling demands that you write the ONE thing that set the whole storyline of the book in motion!!The last thing I had an issue with was how easy the betrayal by the male lead was glossed over. He was hiding VERY key facts from the female lead and then mates her without explaining that to her when he asked her to submit to him. A little more angst and drama in these parts would have made for a way better story then what I got here. It was all sex and a very useless mystery that was solved off page with one minor reveal and then nothing.If it had at least had more characters growing together and falling in love I might have liked it more. But, it didn’t. Instead he kept saying how she was only his toy, over and over again until I was grossed out by it. So all I can only say is, if you like a forgettable waste of time, then this book is for you.

Zeke slaughtered Mary’s pack. She has no one to guide her through the change. She is a half breed and no pack will ever accept her. Zeke had planned to kill of the pack but when Mary steps up to protect one member, he scents something in her. To protect the one pack member she agrees to be Zeke’s toy. But is she more then his toy? Could she be his mate?In the beginning Zeke seemed like such a jerk. But as we get to know him, we find out that he is actually a nice guy. He need for Mary is sometimes upsetting because he keeps her in the dark till half way through. Mary thought she was going to be alone forever but giving herself to Zeke showed her that she was so much more. These two are hot in the sheets and wall and shower. A bit of a mystery as to what Mary’s pack had done to her and why. And we are also searching for Zeke’s sister. Things are never simple.

Felt so good to jump back into a shifter world!I really liked Zeke & Mary's story. Loved the mystery surrounding the experiments, when Zeke's mind went into "mate mode" & how adorably sexy they were together! The pack dynamics were great (would've actually loved to have gotten more scenes with members) & I loved Mary's new role within it. They got the whole HEA she-bang & it was beautiful!Looking forward to more stories in The Alpha Shifters Collection!Side Note: The word "cream" should NEVER be used in sexual situations. It is NOT sexy. It just makes the woman sound like she has an infection down there or something. #nasty

What an interesting novel. This story is the first one in the series: The Alpha Shifter Collection. Mary is a newly turned shifter and is new to this world. When Zeke spots Mary, he is captivated by her and goes out of his way to make her his. This story explores how their relationship changes and grows. With a HEA, this novel is worth a read.

Mary was never really part of the pack. In fact her pack had some dark secrets, so when Zeke an alpha from another pack comes in to kill her pack she is confused. Only when she thinks he is going to hurt a young pack member does she strike a bargain with him. She becomes his sex toy in order to save the girl. What transpires after this becomes a love story for the ages.

Zeke and Mary meet at a murder. Mary is a character that you will be rooting for, she's strong despite being mistreated, and stubborn even though she's confused. The plot gets deep real fast, with Zeke discovering nefarious plans and revealing his own secrets. I enjoyed the story and the characters and the plot just makes me want to go find the other books in the series to read them too!

This book was interesting. The characters were good but I feel like it is missing something. There’s a few holes I want filled. I’m giving it four stars. Zeke and Mary I like their dynamic but I felt is was a little forced and the chemistry was off.

This was a great story with fantastic characters. It had some wonderful love scenes and a great ending.I loved how Mary was loved by Zeke and his entire pack and family. The shifters in this story had some originaltwists that were very good.

I need to stop trusting these books. If I'm paying for a book I don't want a sleepy eyes. So bored in so many parts. Started out great. Until you get past the sample then it all turns pretty boring and repent.

Amazing, intimate, love, passionate everything u need is in this story. I wish story should be long. Write more like this.
