color is almost the same,they are differnt bacasue if you wear series 2 you can have your hands reach out from the holes.

This could defintely be unisex. It was probably labeled Women's Apparel because it has a velvet feel; though anyone could wear it. It is longer though.

Q: How closely do the colors in the pictures resemble the actual colors? I'm specifically interested in the Series 1 and Series 2 green cloaks.

I bought the series 1 cloak, and the color is exactly like it is in the picture.
