I am about 6 months in using this for my radar detector and there is NO movement. I ahve gone form extreme heat to extreme cold and it's still holding strong. I even gave it a little pull test a few days ago, it's solid. Buy this if you can't keep a suction cup from sticking, this WILL work

Was way bigger than what I needed for my application. After cutting it and using it for the dash cam, I think it’s better than what came with the camera. Hasn’t fallen off yet!

No joke. After using the cleaning prep cloth, the adhesion is very high... after a firm pressing down for 120 seconds and then press firmly down again for a few seconds 5 mins later.... and then the next day another firm press down... And then Late the next day you should be able to use it as long as your not putting a lot of off-set pull against one side of this soft rubberized pad. Let it go another whole day and then you will be happy like me! Holding a heavy metal cell phone case and medium weight Motorola tablet/phone, extended off-set about 6" and lower than the Cell phone mount base mounted on the dash.First pad did not hold after 48 hours of just the one firm press down and then tried at 48 hour mark. It lifted after holding phone and case for about 5 minutes. The current pad has held for a short 15 minute ride after 72 hours and the extra press downs and today survived a full 3 hours mounted and Interstate traffic for 1 of those hours and country roads the other 2. Glad the kit came with more than one.

I've been having trouble getting a Next Base front facing camera to stick to my car windshield using the sticky pads that came with the camera which do not stick in summertime temperatures in Arizona (inside temperatures can reach 160 degrees Fahrenheit (perhaps more) while a car sits in the sun on a 115 degree day). So I bought these pads which the instructions say will work in temperatures up to 120 degrees Celsius (248 degrees Fahrenheit). So far, so good, and my camera has remained stuck to the windshield. These pads are quite large and one pad can be cut in two and each half used for separate applications if needed, at least for something with a small to medium footprint. The only negative is that the instructions say it takes up to 48 hours for the sticky glue to fully cure on your windshield, so you need to keep the camera weight off the base that you put on your windshield for 2 days.

This thing fell off the dashboard less than 1 block away from my house. I carefully followed all the instructions for mounting . Waste of money.
