Thanks to another reviewer here (Joe as well go figure) I gave this guy a shot. Liked the Flex 8 Full coverage, but had a couple bad experiences with sizing and poor ear protection. Literally stopped wearing those after taking a hit to an earlobe which hurt like an expletive. This one is slightly larger in all regards, and better coverage for the ears and neckline/chin. Out of the box, I was impressed that they carried over the quick lens system from the Proflex X, and a quick strap change system, though finding straps may be a bit of a pain. Quick google has not helped here really, anyways. While disassembling it, I was also surprised to find that the helmet portion is well engineered to be easily removable, you simply remove the quick swap foam, and the forehead section slides out. Foam is nice, but not "premium", easy to remove and trim as needed for glasses or nose bridge. The Proflexes have always pinched the bridge of my nose, but like those, it's not hard to get the fit perfect. Can wear a beanie or bounce cap underneath, mostly wanted to check that for colder days. Besides adding a thermal lens, my only other recommendation is some thin adhesive backed foam sheet to help pad the ears, as they're hard plastic, and a hit there might not feel great, though I have no concerns about it protecting my ears. Added some time mine, and the fit is snug and comfy on them now. I'm not sure why this mask isn't touted as highly, or iterated on with a higher end version, but snag em while they're cheap. It vaulted to the top of my list as my favorite JT mask!

Fit is perfect, it fully protected our heads and faces, but once it started to rain it got foggy. Also if you wear glasses, they are very hard to put on while wearing your glasses. Other than that, they did exactly what I needed them to do.

I have a larger head (7 5/8 hat) and this helmet fits well. I tried out a Flex 8 and it was too small and didn't cover my ears. This one covers my ears completely and doesn't rub. I was able to wear a bandana underneath the helmet without issue as well. Lens could be better but at the price its not bad at all especially if you are looking for something that will fit your head first.

Grandsons are new to paintball (6 months) and these were Christmas gifts. They love them. Probably used more than any gift we've ever bought them.I played paintball for 10+ years and am familiar with previous versions of JT goggles. Quality was good then and even better now. I still have the paintball guns and masks we used 20 years ago. Just cant seem to give them up.

1. The listing said thermal lense which is usually two lenses which are sealed together via glue and foam (like double glazing), this assists with regulating the temperature thus reducing fogging but when I got the mask it has a sticker that says single lens. The full head protection is a plus because I have gotten hit in the head while wearing a beanie and that was fun and to ass “second skull “ cap to a mask can potentially double the price so this is suitable however I found the mask uncomfortable to wear and fogging is a possibility considering single lense so I’m sending it back

I have a 7 3/4 head, large adult head, this fits perfectly and provides great protection for airsoft. Love it! Wish it had two lens but it still works great.
