I used this battery to refurb my old Dyson DC56. (The one that has wet floor wipe attachment) It isn’t listed in the compatible models, probably because it’s so old but It fits perfectly. The only difference between the new battery and the original is that the capacity of the new one is much bigger. Suction is great! (Make sure you replace filter and clean thoroughly)The price was excellent and it even gave me 8% extra discount plus prime next day delivery!The only thing I’d suggest is that you keep the 2 screws that you take out to remove the old battery. Some adverts for batteries specify that they give you new screws but this one doesn’t. You’ll need them to attach the new battery. It’s very easy to fit - following YouTube instructions.Charge time I haven’t timed but it’ll obviously take longer because the capacity of the battery is greater than the original. But this will mean the run time is longer too :)

My Dyson DC34 battery was flat and would not charge. Ordered this battery replacement, received the new battery same day as ordered. Charged it, installed it in my Dyson DC34 and Dyson now fully working again.

i have charged and used it on Dyson handheld 4/5 times, it holds power and lasted to finish hovering a car, about 6 minutes, so far so good.

It is held in by two screws, a small Philips screw accessed behind the air filter and a much longer Philips screw in a recess above the charger socket. It’s this second screw that can prove troublesome.After unscrewing it, it wouldn’t come out and remained stuck in the recess. No amount of fiddling with bits of wire trying to hook under it would work.With the screw still in place the old battery will not come out.The eventual fix was to apply a dab of super glue to the screwdriver bit, and hold it against the screw until it set, then pull the screw out using the bit. Use pliers to detach the screw afterwards.Battery drops ou. Insert the new one and reassemble. Job Done! Works a treat.

worked perfectly, easy to install

When we first got this battery it worked ok. We only used it 3 or 4 times before it stopped working altogether.I started the returns process but as i was about to take the battery out it miraculously started working again.Sadly this only lasted another 4 or 5 uses and has now definitely stopped working and I'm a week out of the returns window!

I needed this because Dyson no longer provide replacements for their older models, apparently they would rather have you spend several hundred pounds on a new model than continue providing replacement batteries for a perfectly functional appliance.This product has better specs than the Dyson original, and is waaaaaay cheaper than original Dyson replacements.It works fine so far, but has only been through a couple of full charge cycles.

this fitted my Dyson stick vacuum perfectly. Much cheaper than buying a new Dyson. Unfortunately Dyson dont make soares for my vacuum anymore so this was perfect. It's so easy to fit as well.
