Waited until I used a few dozen to review this....
These are good quality grow bags. So far, I've grown Lion's Mane, Hen of the Woods, and Shiitakes in theses. The bags will hold up to boiling water and at least 3 hours in a pressure cooker for sterilization of substrates. The bags also seal easily enough with a vacuum sealer. (I don't have an impulse sealer; I just use the sealing only function of a vacuum sealer I already had.)I haven't had any contamination issues, so the filter patches are presumably doing their job correctly as well. All in all, these were a good value, and I've got a lot more mushroom growing yet to come!

Bags are fragile after heat treating, but good value if your careful
The media could not be loaded. Each bag comfortably holds about 3 liters of rehydrated seed/rice. The bags in my picture have hard water build up on them from pressure canning but you can still see the mycelium starting to grow in them. They sat for 3 weeks before I inoculated them to make sure there was no contamination. I have been using these bags for mycology for over a year now and after using over 100 bags I have some notes:- Make sure you impact seal them TWICE very carefully or they will leak bacteria/air.- The bottom seal becomes weak after treating for 90 minutes in a pressure canner, so handle them gently or you will leak bacteria/air.- Pressure cook your rice/seed BEFORE scooping into these bags and pressure canning because a pressure canner will not adequately rehydrate them nor will it kill all the bacteria in the rice/seeds after 90 minutes or even 150 minutes.- Let your spawn bags sit for a week or two after pressure cooking to make sure there is no contamination before you inoculate.- To inoculate the bag with culture, cover a spot with micropore tape, peel back the tape halfway, spray generously with 70% alcohol, then quickly inoculate and cover the hole with the micropore tape. This will net an 80-90% success rate. for 100% success then perform this step in front of a laminar air flow filter.- When turning/mixing the bag during mycelium colonization avoid letting the moist seeds/rice touch the micropore patch because if that patch gets wet it easily allows bacteria to move through it and into your bag.- 3 liters of seed/rice in this bag will easily seed 2 to 3 tubs with mycelium, however if you use the full 3 liters of spawn for a single tub you will get vigorous guaranteed mushroom flush in 1 week with very low chance of contamination. If you split between two tubs expect about 1.5 to 2 weeks to first flush, and split between 3 tubs about 2 to 3 weeks to first flush of mushrooms. Obviously risk of contamination goes up the longer it takes to flush.- You can use these bags to sterilize your substrate in a pressure canner, and I recommend you do, even if its simply coco-coir. This will guarantee a very very low chance of contamination, especially if you mix your spawn and substrate tub in front of a laminar flow filter and use the full 3 liters for one tub.As always, good genetics help immensely! Good luck everyone, happy growing.

Pressure sterilization is fine
Great size and easy to fill and stack in the pc. I’ve been putting about 2kg of grain per bag and it holds fine.

Bags do not withstand sterilization
I just tried to sterilize 4 bags in my pressure cooker and they all came out with holes in them. I haven't had this issue before. I will be looking for a new brand.
