AFM DFM Disabler AG001 Pro V8 Active Fuel Management Compatible GM Chevy Silverado Tahoe Sierra Yukon DOD Disable

I just recieved my afm disabler this morning. I plugged it in and it hooked up immediately. The pinkish light in the middle will stay lit and when you take off the 2 blue lights on the outside will light up. I tried out a friend's name brand range and soo far this is a very comparable prouduct. I went on a 30 minute drive were I know it usually kicks in and out of v4 mode and it stayed in v8 mode the whole time. I also recorded miles per gallon before and after, and it's barely .9 difference. I know it's to early to tell but it seemed like it did away with the transmission hunting around for the right gears. Only time will tell, I will update the review down the road for everyone.

Instead of paying $3k for a DOD/AFM Delete this was worth it! I’ve seen some of these OBD2 port AFM/DOD Delete plugin’s for sometime and they were for a couple of hundred dollars. Luckily I came across this one. I read the reviews and it didn’t appear to have any negative ones besides it not being compatible.I have a 2016 Chevy Tahoe PPV that just had an Engine rebuild done for over $10k!!! The reason was because of the DOD/AFM system. I had a check engine light for my driver side Catalytic converter pop on recently after the repairs were done by the dealership. They wanted another $2K to replace and fix it. Fortunately this product seemed to help and with the vehicle staying in V8 Mode it appears to have pushed the buildup out of the exhaust and convertors. I’ve noticed the engine runs a lot smoother the ticking has subsided and I can feel the difference in driving. Check engine light hasn’t come on for the past 3 days . Usually it pops on right after the 3rd ignition cycle, but it hasn’t.On my dash it shows when the V8 Mode swaps to the V4 mode. I’ve been watching it since I plugged the system in and it hasn’t changed once and has stayed on the V8 mode. The directions were mini and straight to the point. I would suggest this to anyone who has a compatible Chevy with the AFM/DOD system.I’m going to definitely post pictures and a video review as well.I will continue to monitor the usage of it and see if anything changes or comes out negative, but it seems to be a very solid purchase!!

I have had it in my 2014 silverado for a couple weeks and it work good my truck no longer goes inter four cylinder mode anymore does exactly what it is supposed to

The ANGE ELEC Active Fuel Management Disabler for GM Motors is an amazing workaround! It quickly resolved my engine misfiring issues on my 2015 Chevrolet Avalanche. I was having issues with it and getting error codes because the AFM system wasn’t working properly.With a quick plugin of this cool device that issue is now off my back!The disabler is very small at 1.82 inches wide by 2.412 inches long by 0.9 inches tall with 1.757 inches of the length protruding out beyond the OBD-II connection port. So, it doesn’t intrude too much into my seating area.It was pretty heavy at 1.3 oz to be dangling out of my OBD-II port while I am driving over bumps and rough terrain. Luckily, it has a clip set up that helps it hold on pretty snuggly.Something else that I also didn’t care for was how sharp some of the angles are on this solidly built device with its hard plastic. Basically, if you bump into it you can hurt yourself!
